I am having same issue. I spoke with Apple and they told me my iPhone is fine and it is a problem with the streaming companies. However, my Netflix, Hulu, peacock, and HBO Max work on all my other devices (including my wife's iPhone XR). She probably has not downloaded newest update. I will check to see if she has though.
Depends on what you’d classify as content I guess. But yeah, there’s new content on the app in the general sense. On the Apple TV, the app is actually more fluid than HBO Max. I do hate that they went back to the horrid player ui for the Apple TV tho. 4.
